"Daniel Pluta's still life piece continues to offer an abundance of pleasure and complex impressions each day I observe it. His use of light & shadow invites me, the observer, an escape into the setting. The deliberate placement of the red tea pot and ornate tureen which dominate the painting, suggest formality and order while a child's toy intersects the composition to produce a whimsical component to the piece which makes me smile.
The rectangular table on which the circular objects sit creates a diagonal plane which lends flow, continuity, interest and balance to the composition.
Additionally, Daniel's linear perspective gives volume and depth to the subject. A light blue fabric hangs in the background defining the borders while a darker blue cloth in the foreground serves to offset the use of red in the painting which in turn creates perfect symmetry without compromising the quality of realism.
This painting is displayed in a room in my home that receives a large volume of foot traffic. I positioned it here deliberately so that others can enjoy it as much as I do. I look forward to more of Daniel Pluta's artwork."

"The picture of my parents’ home Daniel Pluta painted sits just above my night stand and desk. I view it every day as I go to bed and the days I work at my desk. Its rich pallet of color hearkens fond memories of my childhood living there at that house. While Dan painted it from an impressionist perspective, its well thought design and careful placement gives the painting a realism that makes me believe I am ten years old playing catch with my dad. It is obvious when you view this painting that Dan took his time to create a masterpiece that I now have the luxury of viewing every day. It is an honor to own a Pluta, and I look forward to viewing more of this artist’s beautiful artwork."

"We were delighted with Daniel's drawing. The detail is incredible. We gave this drawing as an anniversary gift to our parents. It was the perfect recreation of their wedding photograph--adding new life to a fond memory. We especially loved the detail that Daniel put into the lace on the bride's dress and the varying textures he included throughout the picture. Daniel was very easy to work with and receptive to our ideas for the piece. We are so happy with the image he has created for us."

"We commissioned Daniel Pluta to draw a sketch of our two beautiful children, and we're so happy we did! He captured our son's cheerful cheekiness and our daughter's beautiful smile. There's something special about having art instead of just a photo. Daniel captured the best in our children, and now we will have it to enjoy for the rest of our lives."
